Tappan Collective Original Photo Art

Collecting photo art today looks very different than it did even a decade ago. You don’t need to walk through spacious galleries to find something meaningful. Now, art finds its way to us through festivals, digital platforms, and sometimes most beautifully, directly from the artists themselves.

One of the platforms reshaping how we discover art is Tappan Collective. Unlike traditional galleries, Tappan began as an online space dedicated to supporting emerging artists. Their mission is simple but powerful: to make contemporary art accessible, less intimidating, and to give young artists a stage where their voices can be heard. What began as a digital collective has since grown into physical gallery shows, but the heart remains the same, a celebration of new, promising talent.

I find this approach inspiring. While Tappan Collective represents a chorus of many voices, my own work is more like a single note: quiet, personal, but deeply resonant. Through my camera lens, I explore the intricate beauty of nature: the softness of petals, the trembling of water, the hidden patterns that reveal themselves only when you pause and look closely. Works like The Daisy Echo or Soft Dreams II are invitations to enter that stillness, while Petals of Desire plays with a more provocative edge.

My art also reaches toward the vastness of the ocean. Along the coasts of the Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean, I have captured the shifting moods of water, from soft horizons to the secret worlds beneath the surface. With underwater photography, I step into a silence that feels eternal and bring back fragments of that mystery framed in 35mm.

Each of my prints is available on Giclée (Fine Art) Paper, Metal, and Canvas, with different sizes that can adapt to any space.

Just as Tappan Collective opens doors to discover new artists, I invite you into my own gallery, a space where the immense and the intimate meet, and where nature’s fleeting beauty can live with you every day.

One of my favorite ways to understand a town is through its municipal market. It’s where you’ll find authentic Spanish food and fresh fish, local cheese, olives, and seasonal veggies, all in one place. If you want to experience Spain beyond restaurants, this is where to begin. #spain #travel #foodie #spanishfood #marbella

Málaga is one of the oldest cities in Europe, with more than 2,800 years of history layered into its streets.
The Cathedral rises above the historic center, known locally as La Manquita, unfinished, yet deeply loved.
As you walk through the old town, balconies, sculptures, and worn stone facades tell quiet stories from Roman, Moorish, and Andalusian pasts.
Everyday life here is just as important as history: handmade pastries, local ice cream, and small shops keeping traditions alive.
The streets stay lively,
filled with conversation and movement,
until the day naturally ends when people gather
at tapas bars, sharing fresh food, wine,
and laid-back moments.

Teatro Romano de Málaga
Built in the 1st century BC during the reign of Emperor Augustus, this Roman theater is one of the oldest monuments in the city. Discovered only in the 1950s, it sits right at the foot of the Alcazaba fortress, a quiet reminder of how centuries of history live side by side in Málaga. #spain #malaga #travel #history #visitspain
