Inspire. Explore. Connect.

public speaker elena

Hi, there!

I’m Elena Sullivan, a photographer with over 15 years of experience and creative adventurer. In 2013, I embarked on a transformative solo adventure through Finland, Spain, and settled in Cancun, Mexico, for nine years. I believe that photography is an art form requiring dedication and excellence, a journey of discovery that reveals beauty in the ordinary. Nowadays, I specialize in fine art macro photography, creating pieces that can be seen as stunning wall art. My fine art photo prints invite viewers to appreciate the extraordinary in everyday life.

READ THE STORY

My public speaking presentations focuses on inspiring audiences to explore new perspectives, both in photography and in life. I encourage listeners to slow down, appreciate the beauty in the small details, and discover the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Through personal stories of creative growth, solo travel, and my journey as a photographer, I aim to connect with others and spark curiosity, offering fresh insights and motivation for self-expression and exploration.

How can I serve your audience?

Here are some ideas to ignite your creativity and explore how I can bring value to your podcast or public event.

You’ll find topics, their ideal audiences, and the outcomes they aim to achieve.

If you don’t see the perfect match but have something specific in mind, I’m happy to tailor a program just for your audience. Let’s connect and discuss!

Public Presentation:

The Power of Solo Travel

My presentation, “The Power of Solo Travel,” is based on my personal journey of discovering the world through solo travel. Beginning in 2013 with just a camera, a collection of one-way tickets, and a suitcase, I embarked on an adventure that took me through Finland and Spain, ultimately leading to a nine-year stay in Cancun, Mexico. Throughout the presentation, I highlight the immense personal growth I experienced on a small budget, sharing stories of cultural exchanges, friendships, and invaluable lessons learned along the way. My aim is to inspire the audience by illustrating how solo travel fosters self-discovery, mindfulness, and a deeper appreciation for diverse perspectives and experiences.

This topic is good for: Personal Development Groups, Cultural and Language Learners, Travel Agencies, Women’s Empowerment Groups, Outdoor Enthusiasts, Cultural Exchange Advocates, Travel Writers, Retreat Organizers.

Outcome: With my public presentation, “The Power of Solo Travel,” I aim to inspire and empower the audience to embark on their own solo adventures. Attendees may develop a newfound interest in traveling alone, feeling more confident and willing to step out of their comfort zones. They might gain a broader worldview, fostering curiosity about different cultures while reflecting on their own lives and the importance of mindfulness. Participants may recognize solo travel as a catalyst for personal growth, creativity, and deeper connections with the world around them.

Public Presentation:

Macro Photography Art. Where Curiosity leads to Discovery

Macro photography invites viewers to explore the enchanting world where the tiniest details come to life. This captivating art form encourages curiosity by revealing the hidden beauty in nature, transforming ordinary subjects into extraordinary visual experiences.

This topic is good for: Art and Nature Lovers, Photography Enthusiasts, Nature and Wildlife Organizations, Creative Professionals, Wellness and Mindfulness Groups.

In my presentation, “Macro Photography Art: Where Curiosity leads to Discovery,” I will share how macro photography ignites curiosity by revealing the extraordinary beauty in ordinary, tiny objects. Through my photo art work, showcased in my solo photo exhibition, “Refreshing Whispers of Bloom,” I demonstrate how macro photography brings small details into the larger world, inviting us to slow down and appreciate life’s subtle wonders. In our fast-paced lives, it can be challenging to notice the beauty around us. This presentation encourages the audience to pause, explore, and find inspiration to look at the little things in daily life in a new way, discovering the extraordinary within the ordinary.

Outcome: Attendees may develop a deeper appreciation for the small details in their surroundings, learning to notice the beauty that often goes overlooked in daily life. This newfound awareness can motivate audience to slow down in their busy lives, taking the time to engage with their environment, which can lead to mindfulness and improved well-being.

Somewhere along the Costa del Sol, between the sea and the mountains, sits Estepona, often called the “Garden of the Costa del Sol.”And it truly lives up to the name. The old town is lined with colorful flower pots, bright streets, and carefully kept corners that feel both intentional and authentic. It’s one of those places where beauty feels intentional. Over the years, Estepona has blended its traditional Andalusian charm with seaside promenades, art murals, and open-air sculptures, while still holding onto its fishing-town roots. You can feel it in the relaxed plazas and in the dramatic backdrop of the Sierra Bermeja mountains. Estepona blooms not only in its streets, but also on its plates, fresh, local, simple flavors that perfectly end a day by the sea.

Located between the mountains of the Sierra de las Nieves, Istán is a small white village with breathtaking views over the valley and the coast beyond. To get here you follow winding mountain roads that already feel like part of the experience.
Often called the “Spring of the Costa del Sol,” Istán is known for its fresh mountain water, Moorish roots, and peaceful rhythm of life.Stone streets, whitewashed houses, and the sound of water flowing through the village make it feel timeless. #travel #spain #malaga #visitspain #spain❤️

One of my favorite ways to understand a town is through its municipal market. It’s where you’ll find authentic Spanish food and fresh fish, local cheese, olives, and seasonal veggies, all in one place. If you want to experience Spain beyond restaurants, this is where to begin. #spain #travel #foodie #spanishfood #marbella

Málaga is one of the oldest cities in Europe, with more than 2,800 years of history layered into its streets.
The Cathedral rises above the historic center, known locally as La Manquita, unfinished, yet deeply loved.
As you walk through the old town, balconies, sculptures, and worn stone facades tell quiet stories from Roman, Moorish, and Andalusian pasts.
Everyday life here is just as important as history: handmade pastries, local ice cream, and small shops keeping traditions alive.
The streets stay lively,
filled with conversation and movement,
until the day naturally ends when people gather
at tapas bars, sharing fresh food, wine,
and laid-back moments.

Teatro Romano de Málaga
Built in the 1st century BC during the reign of Emperor Augustus, this Roman theater is one of the oldest monuments in the city. Discovered only in the 1950s, it sits right at the foot of the Alcazaba fortress, a quiet reminder of how centuries of history live side by side in Málaga. #spain #malaga #travel #history #visitspain
